We are a leading, global, full service mobile marketing agency. We help brands engage with their customers using creative and effective mobile marketing and advertising solutions.
The business has three core divisions; mobile strategy, mobile production and mobile media, where we presently looking for a talented individual to join our New York team.
Media Planner/Buyer will be responsible for the development and management of mobile media campaigns for key strategic clients.
Key responsibilities include:
• Proactively plan, manage and execute mobile display campaigns
• Manage client relationship throughout a campaign life cycle: from requirement gathering and campaign scoping through to execution and reporting
• Advise on and influence clients’ mobile media strategy, produce campaign proposals
• Manage relationships with suppliers: ad networks and publishers. Negotiate rates, oversee and optimise campaign delivery and results
• Manage media plans and budgets
• Manage implementation of tracking solutions
• Deliver results in line with Client Objectives and KPI’s
• Support the business development team by providing relevant market research and media insights, assist in proposal writing and pitches preparation
• Maintain accurate, accessible and organised documentation
Skills and Experience
• Experience of working in the mobile marketing industry (preferable)
• Proven experience in online or mobile media and good understanding of main disciplines within the online industry
• Client facing experience
• Strong written and verbal communication and people skills, ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to analyse results, identifying and explaining variance from goals
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously to achieve and deliver in excess of targets
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Degree-educated (preferable)

ACADEMIC MARKETING MANAGER (most likely contract to hire………….)
This candidate will develop, plan, and manage the creation and execution of marketing and promotional initiatives for our Books’ new, revision, and backlist titles (in both print & digital formats) with the aim of increasing revenue in the Americas and developing the scope and profile of these lists within the marketplace.

PRINT PRODUCTION DESIGNER ~ 50k +/- 5k
Production Artist/Designer with a salary range of $55,000 per annum.
I would like to emphasize that the candidate should have print design experience and NOT web design.

• Responsible for graphic design and layout of brochures, flyers, ads, etc. for all departments with special emphasis on meetings and education departments.

• Work with Print Production Manager on scheduling of projects to ensure all deadlines are met and resources are being used most effectively.

• Work with Staff VP Marketing on development of design concepts and creative ideas for new marketing initiatives and branding of programs.

• Take the lead in creative brainstorming as needed and stay current with design and print production trends and updates.

• Preflight, collect and process documents for release to vendors in perfect order.

Skills and Abilities: Expert knowledge and minimum 5 years experience working with CS4 (or CS5) InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Fetch. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of HTML preferred.

Strong typography and design skills required, including flowing and editing copy, use of style sheets and strong font management skills. Good spelling, grammar and typing skills.

Publisher (Educational Publishing)
Responsibilities:
• To plan and establish publishing programs for print and technology to meet the domestic/regional/international-publishing requirement. At the same time, the publishing programs must synergies with the group publishing requirements to meet the international market demand.
• To co-ordinate and ensure strict adherence to master brand and imprint applications in accordance to Corporate guidelines
• To manage the publishing programs and budgets and oversee such expenditures at local/overseas offices.
• Review and approve the designs of titles for domestic and international market.
• To source for suppliers pertaining to the productions in all countries.
• To manage the publishing operation
• To manage editorial and design team

Pre-requisites:
• Degree with minimum 12 years’ in educational publishing and at least 5 years in managing an operation.
• Proven experience in multiple project management capabilities
• Experience in book publishing and international business is an advantage
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent relationship management skills
• Creative and proven ability to develop sound publishing content.
• Possess professional publishing qualification will be an added advantage.

Publisher (Acquisitions) ~ Singapore based
Role and responsibilities:
• Develop and drive publishing programme
• Agree on and work with GM on publishing and digital strategy
• Negotiate and liaise with third party content providers inc print publishers/digital publishers
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop holistic publishing programme in areas where MCIS does not have expertise
• Ensure quality of publications in line with market needs and trends
• Manage author network and relationships
• Manage Editorial-Sales/customer interface
• Manage a small Acquisitions Editorial team
• Training and guiding the acquisitions editors in the interpretation of market feedback
• Develop guidelines for publishing evaluation and approval

Pre-requisites:
• Min 12 years’ experience in educational publishing (10 years for Associate Publisher.), with at least 5 years in publishing management. Candidates holding senior positions in the education industry will also be considered.
• Experience in the K-12 educational publishing industry and familiarity with issues relating to the education industry are musts.
• Market-oriented with a proven track record in developing a successful K-12 list.
• Strong leadership skills with capability to lead a team in conceptualising market driven, cutting edge print and technology products
• Strong English language skills
• Excellent networking skills required
• Ability to bring about and manage change including being comfortable with the need to develop and implement standards and processes
• Candidates with knowledge of the Singapore education system will have an advantage.
• Candidates must be comfortable developing technology products.
